The parameters for the metals tested are done by atomic absorption spectroscopy and are analytical methods accredited under ISO 17025:2005 for water matrix. The elements for the accredited methods are: Iron Fe, Zinc Zn, Lead Pb, Nickel Ni, Cadmium Cd, Silver Ag, Copper Cu, Sodium Na, Potassium K, Thallium Tl, Magnesium Mg, Manganese Mn, Antimony Sb, Chromium Cr, Vanadium V, Aluminum Al, Barium Ba, Beryllium Be, Calcium Ca, Silicon Si, Mercury Hg, Arsenic As, and Molybdenum Mo.
Some other accredited parameters are: conductivity, hydrogen potential, COD, settleable solids, and oils and greases. The testing for nitrites, nitrates, fluorides, sulphates, hardness, alkalinity, acidity, BOD, solids, nitrogen, phosphorus, and others, are carried out under the implemented quality system.
